| Would you enjoy hosting a temporary canine house guest? Ridgeback Rescue of the United States (RRUS) needs Ridgeback people who can foster a dog until an appropriate forever home is found. Typical length of stay in foster care is from four to eight weeks. The rescue dog will be happy to "hang out" in a crate at night and when you are gone. All expenses, such as food, transportation, and vet bills will be reimbursed by Ridgeback Rescue of the United States. We are fortunate that Wisconsin has just a few dogs each year (four to five) that need rehoming. A bit of your time, love and attention for a few weeks will go a long way towards preventing burn out in our "diehard" volunteers. Most of all, you will make the crucial difference for a special dog at a vulnerable time in its life. Please go to our website at www.rrus.org and fill out a VOLUNTEER APPLICATION if you are able to help. | ||
